Carnival revellers celebrated in a colorful display on the streets of Rio de Janeiro on Thursday, a day after Rio's Carnival was officially inaugurated. Crowds of carnival lovers paraded through the Brazilian city wearing costumes as drums played the carnival beats. (April 22)
