Middle East Crisis: Cease-Fire Talks Will Resume Next Week, but Israel and Hamas Remain at Odds

The United States, Egypt and Qatar presented a proposal to bridge gaps between Israel and Hamas in order to end the fighting in Gaza. Iran appears to be delaying its expected retaliation against Israel to allowing the talks to progress.
