United will fly to Dublin from San Francisco and British Airways will launch Portland-London flights in Summer 2020.

The no-frills airline is adding it first flights to El Salvador and Guatemala and is beefing up service in Miami, Baltimore and other cities.

Spirit unveiled a new Airbus A320neo outfitted with the airline’s new seats, bigger tray tables and new cabin colors.

Southwest will have to cut 300 daily flights as a result in March and the first half of April. American Airlines made a similar move last week.

Boeing’s move comes as the troubled plane’s grounding drags on. The company said in a statement it does not plan layoffs or furloughs at this time.

The shared ride airport vans have faced stiff competition from Uber, Lyft and other companies offering rides to and from the airport for less money.

Southwest doesn’t open its schedule nearly a year in advance like most airlines. But on Wednesday, the airline extended bookings through Aug. 10.

Southwest sent a survey to customers about a new fare category. The airline says it regularly surveys travelers and nothing should be read into it.
