Minneapolis-based Sun Country Airlines is adding 12 new seasonal routes, including its first flights to and from Baltimore and Cleveland.

Southwest Airlines considers Halloween a national holiday. Its executives dress up, and it encourages employees to decorate. Passengers get a free drink.

United is bulking up the size of its overhead bins on most of its fleet to fit more bags. On the workhorse 737-900, that means 65 extra bags.

The report from the Joint Authorities Technical Review criticized the certification process for the plane as being too narrow, among other things.

United was optimistic the Boeing 737 Max would return for the holiday season, but on Friday removed the plane from its schedule until Jan. 6.

The nightly resort fee at Caesars Palace is going from $39 to $45. With taxes, the total tops $50. The fee is also increasing at two other hotels.

The Southwest Airlines Pilots Association says its 9,900 members have lost about $115 million due to flight cuts caused by the Max grounding.

A Southwest flight attendant said he didn’t give a passenger in a “Trump 45” T-shirt his best service. The airline is investigating.

Travelers are allowed to get a free refund on most airline tickets if they cancel within 24 hours of booking.
